Bob Peters
Bob Bob Peters has been writing, performing, and teaching for the past 35 years. He has experience teaching all styles of music—from classical to rock to jazz.

Everyone loves "BP". If his extraordinary saxophone playing wasn't enough, wait until you hear him sing. He can sing and teach a variety of styles—from Frank Sinatra to James Brown to ZZ Top. Bob is a local staple in Fairfield County.

He started working professionally while he was in high school. After graduating, he pursued a music education degree at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied flute and clarinet with Nick Caizza, jazz with Andy McGhee, and theory with Mike Rendish. But then the road called and Bob left school—touring with Joe Turner, Herb Reed and the Platters, and The Happenings. Bob was also involved in writing and arranging original songs for various groups.

Bob, a member of The Signature Band, has worked for the past 22 years with Jay Stollman and The Black Rock All-Stars and is now the band’s musical director. The All-Stars have opened for such artists as the late James Brown, Wilson Pickett, The Temptations, Tower of Power, and The Tubes. Bob has also performed with jazz legend Houston Person, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, and recorded with Jose Feliciano.
